Trump Reveals Bill Gates’ Private Meeting Request in Apparent Swipe at Elon Musk

Trump’s Tech Ties: Elon Musk Partnership Sparks Interest Amid Bill Gates Meeting Revelation

In a message seemingly directed at his billionaire friend Elon Musk, President-elect Donald Trump recently posted on Truth Social that Bill Gates had requested a meeting with him. Trump’s post included a warm mention of Musk’s son, X Æ A-Xii, and expressed excitement for an upcoming New Year’s Eve celebration at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

The post read: “Where are you? When are you coming to the ‘Center of the Universe,’ Mar-a-Lago? Bill Gates asked to meet with me tonight. We miss you and X! New Year’s Eve is going to be AMAZING!!! – DJT”

According to CNN, Bill Gates has reached out to Donald Trump’s transition team to discuss a potential meeting, although it’s unclear whether the two will actually meet. This development follows a series of meetings between Trump and various tech CEOs and business leaders at Mar-a-Lago since his election victory in November.

Trump’s relationships with tech leaders have been under scrutiny, particularly after he named Elon Musk as co-leader of his government efficiency initiative. However, Musk has faced backlash from some of Trump’s loyal supporters due to his support for the H-1B visa program, which allows highly skilled foreign workers to immigrate to the US.

Trump and Gates first met in December 2016, before Trump’s first term as president. Since Trump’s recent election victory, numerous tech CEOs have sought meetings with him in an effort to establish a positive relationship with the president-elect. Several Fortune 500 companies have also committed significant funds to Trump’s inauguration.

As reported by CNN, CEOs who have met with Trump have taken a strategic approach, discussing issues that align with Trump’s interests, such as bringing manufacturing and jobs back to the US. They have also used these meetings as an opportunity to address potential policy concerns and “start on the right page” with the new administration.
