Washington:
U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy did not sign a minerals deal on Friday, a White House official informed Reuters.
Trump has not ruled out the possibility of an agreement, but it would only happen once Ukraine is prepared for a constructive dialogue, a senior U.S. official stated. It is now up to the Ukrainians to decide whether the leaders’ canceled joint news conference can be rescheduled while Zelenskiy remains in the U.S., the official added.
