Shah Rukh Khan Steals the Show with a Stellar Performance at the 2025 IIFA Awards
New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan took everyone on a nostalgic journey with a captivating performance at the 2025 International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, proving once again why he reigns as one of Bollywood’s biggest superstars.
The actor’s performance was one of the most anticipated moments of the night during the silver jubilee edition of the awards ceremony, held in Jaipur, Rajasthan. And true to expectations, Shah Rukh delivered a show to remember.
The evening began with a spectacular drone show that lit up the sky with breathtaking formations celebrating his cinematic journey. Messages like "SRK" and "The King" illuminated the night, followed by a drone depiction of Shah Rukh in his signature arms-wide-open pose, sending the crowd into a frenzy. It was a grand entrance fit for the King of Bollywood.
Accompanied by the tune of "Badshah," Shah Rukh took the stage and launched into a medley of his greatest hits, including Tujhe Dekha To Ye Jaana and Arey Re Arey. He then performed Chak Dhoom Dhoom from Dil To Pagal Hai, where he was joined by his co-star Madhuri Dixit. The duo recreated their iconic on-screen chemistry, dancing together with effortless grace and evoking nostalgia, making it one of the most unforgettable moments of the night.
The superstar continued to enthrall the audience with hits from the 2000s, including Main Hoon Don from Don, Say Shava from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and Dard-E-Disco from Om Shanti Om. Maintaining the energy, Shah Rukh set the stage ablaze with Zinda Banda from Jawan and Lungi Dance from Chennai Express.
The crowd went wild when he performed Jhoome Jo Pathaan from Pathaan, a track that has become synonymous with his charisma and swag. The grand finale of his performance was set to the iconic Chaiyya Chaiyya from Dil Se. Shah Rukh recreated the magic of the song on a prop train, leaving the audience spellbound.
Before Shah Rukh’s show-stopping act, Shahid Kapoor dazzled the audience with his incredible dancing skills. He performed to hits like Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Akhiyan Gulab from Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, as well as Mauja Hi Mauja and Nagada Nagada from Jab We Met.
Kareena Kapoor Khan paid homage to her grandfather, the legendary Raj Kapoor, by performing on classic tracks such as Ramaiya Vastavaiya, Pyar Hua Iqrar Hua, Jeena Yahan Marna Yahan, Awara Hoon, and Mera Joota Hai Japani. The event also featured performances by Kriti Sanon and Madhuri Dixit.
