Lady Gaga shared what she admires about her fiancé, Michael Polansky. The Abracadabra hitmaker revealed that it was his ‘wholesome quality’ that initially drew her to the businessman, as reported by People.

“From the moment I met Michael, he had the warmest and kindest disposition of anyone I’ve ever met in my life,” said Gaga, adding, “Yes, he was impressive, but what mattered most to me was that he wanted to know about my family.”

“I guess what I’m trying to say is, I knew Michael was genuine because he wanted to be my friend,” Gaga continued. “He didn’t want to do any of the things that others wanted to do. He wanted to take walks with me. He took me rock climbing.”

She shared that Polansky “inspired” her to “have more hope” about her chronic pain condition. “I know Michael is genuine because he’s my friend,” Gaga said, as per People.

Gaga expressed her happiness at finding a “friend” in Polansky.

“It was really hard not having that,” she said. “It’s not a good feeling to struggle so much with making friends. Being actual friends with someone is very specific. You can sit in a room together and not talk. You can take long walks and discuss your family. You can obsess over a new recipe and cook it together.”

Gaga added, “I don’t think it should be transactional, but I was surrounded by that kind of dynamic all the time. So, it’s a huge blessing that I met someone who isn’t like that. It’s a new world for me,” according to the outlet.

Gaga and Polansky were recently seen holding hands at an SNL afterparty at L’Avenue in New York City following the show’s recording, as reported by People.

Gaga wore a striking black rhinestone bodysuit paired with a wide-brimmed hat, while Polansky opted for a casual look in a black trucker jacket, jeans, and sneakers, as per the outlet.

The couple was first romantically linked in 2020, making their public debut during the Super Bowl in Miami.

At the time, Gaga shared a photo on Instagram of the two enjoying their time together on a yacht, captioned, “We had so much fun in Miami.”

Michael Polansky is known for his work managing various charities and businesses associated with Facebook co-founder Sean Parker.

Gaga introduced her longtime boyfriend, Michael Polansky, as “my fiancé” to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal during an Olympic swimming competition.

Ahead of her March 8 performance on Saturday Night Live, Gaga spoke to Good Morning America’s Michael Strahan about why she was so direct about discussing marriage and kids when she first met Polansky.

“Michael flew to Vegas while I was doing my show to take me on our first date, and before we even sat down, I asked, ‘Do you want marriage and kids?’ He said, ‘Yeah, I do.’ I replied, ‘Okay, great, do you want some champagne?’ And he said, ‘Sure,'” she recalled, as reported by People.
