Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s son, Yashvardan, is all set to make his debut in films soon. Yashvardan has already gained experience in the industry by working as an Assistant Director on films like Dishoom, Baaghi, and Kick 2, allowing him to understand the workings of a film set firsthand. Ahead of his debut, Sunita Ahuja shared that Yashvardan is determined to carve his own path despite facing scrutiny.
Speaking to Times Now, Sunita said, "I have been praying to Mata Rani that Yash receives a lot of Yash (fame) and makes a mark for himself in the world. I’ve asked Mata Rani to always protect him, to keep him safe from negativity and the evil eye. He should be blessed with a lot of name, fame, and wealth. But above all, may he always remain grounded and loved."
Working on film sets has given Yashvardan a deep familiarity with the world of showbiz. Sunita added, "He has seen the process from the ground up. He’s not walking in blind."
Addressing the pressure Yash faces to carry forward Govinda’s legacy, she said, "It’s not easy carrying that legacy. People have expectations. But Yash is carving his own path and taking it one step at a time."
Yashvardan will make his acting debut in the National Award-winning director Sai Rajesh’s upcoming project. Sai Rajesh is known for critically acclaimed Telugu films like Colour Photo, Hrudaya Kaleyam, and Baby.
Additionally, it is reported that late actor Irrfan Khan’s son, Babil Khan, will also star in the film.
Meanwhile, Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s marriage has been in the headlines recently after Sunita claimed they were living "separately." Later, Govinda’s lawyer confirmed that Sunita had filed for divorce some time ago, but the couple is now together.
