Authorities have released the recording of a 911 call made after the stabbings of four University of Idaho students in November 2022.

Previous public records requests had been denied due to a gag order on the case, but after a transcript became public last week, authorities said they no longer considered it exempt from disclosure.

The call was made to authorities at 11:55 a.m. local time on Nov. 13, 2022, several hours after Madison Mogen, 21, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20 were allegedly killed by Bryan Kohberger, then a 28-year-old criminology Ph.D. student at nearby Washington State University, just 10 miles away.
