The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled the schedule for the 2025 home season of the Indian men’s cricket team, featuring exciting tours by West Indies and South Africa. The action-packed season will begin on October 2 with the first Test against West Indies in Ahmedabad, followed by the second Test in Kolkata on October 10. This will be followed by a multi-format series against South Africa, starting with the first Test in New Delhi on November 14.
In a historic moment, Guwahati will host its first-ever Test match during the South Africa series, with the second Test scheduled to take place there from November 22. The series will then transition into a three-match ODI series and a five-match T20I series in December. The ODIs will begin in Ranchi on November 30, followed by matches in Raipur (December 3) and Vizakhapatnam (December 6). The T20I series will kick off in Cuttack on December 9, with subsequent matches in New Chandigarh (December 11), Dharamsala (December 14), Lucknow (December 17), and Ahmedabad (December 19).
The BCCI expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming season, stating, "The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is pleased to announce the schedule for Team India (Senior Men) international home season for 2025. The upcoming season promises thrilling encounters as India faces the West Indies and South Africa across Test matches, One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is)."
